A very weathered but highly decorative negative plaster cast for producing relief casts.

This item came out of a London plaster factory which had been operating since the 19th century. The image depicts who we believe to be Acrisius with an eagle.

The small lozenges that surround the edge appear to show Medusa and other mythical legends. The item comes on a metal display stand. Sizes stated do not include the stand.
