A beautiful Woolly Mammoth lower jaw bone complete with teeth and tusk fragments.

The piece shows stunning natural, almost terracotta colour and fossilisation to the teeth. The jaw has been mounted on a custom metal stand to show it off at its natural angle. It would make an impressive centre piece to any setting.

The jaw is flanked in the photographs by 2 associated tusk fragments set on perspex stands.

The woolly mammoth ("Mammuthus primigenius") lived during the Pleistocene, from 150,000 to 10,000 years ago.

Sizes stated below are for the jaw itself and do not include the stand. When mounted on the stand, the entire piece measures approximately 56cm high.
